This privacy notice is issued by Assoc. Prof. Mahmud Aydın as data controller under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) for visitors of mahmudaydin.com (the “Site”).
This Site is for information purposes only. Appointments are made through Memorial Şişli Hospital’s own channels (online booking and call centre). For personal and health data processed during appointments and treatment, the hospital acts as a separate data controller under its own privacy notice.

Please do not send health information (diagnoses, test results, etc.) via the form or e-mail. Medical assessment takes place only during a consultation through the hospital’s secure systems.
We process data to answer your requests and direct you to the right appointment channel, to keep the Site secure, and to comply with legal obligations — based on Articles 5 and 6 of KVKK (performance of a contract, legal obligation, legitimate interest) and, for non-essential cookies, your explicit consent.
Data may be shared, only as necessary, with hosting and e-mail providers, with Memorial Şişli Hospital where your request concerns an appointment, and with authorised public bodies, in line with Articles 8 and 9 of KVKK.
Contact requests are kept for up to 1 year after completion; logs for the periods required by law. Data is then deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
Under Article 11 of KVKK you may request information about, correction, deletion or destruction of your data, learn about transfers, object to automated decisions and claim compensation for unlawful processing. Send your request in writing to the address above or to randevu@mahmudaydin.com; it will be answered free of charge within 30 days.
